Use Arrowhead's self-draining vacuum breaker on their 490BFP and 480 series. Arrowheads "Freeze-Tector" represents a revolutionary breakthrough by allowing freeze protection combined with health protection from possible contaminated water sources caused by back-siphonage or backflow. For optimum freeze protection, vacuum breaker should be at an angle to level ground. NOTE: When using a self-closing nozzle, always relieve pressure in the hose upon water shutoff to activate drainage of hydrant.
